Toby Keith, a popular music artist passed away due to stomach cancer at the age of 62. Following a fight with stomach cancer, a country music artist left for heavenly abode on Monday.
“Toby Keith died quietly in the presence of his family on February 5. He battled the disease with bravery and grace”, a message announced on Keith’s website and social media. Message added, “Please respect his family’s privacy at this time”.
In 2022, Keith was diagnosed with stomach cancer.
When talking about his achievements, Keith won the Country Icon Award and gave a performance at the September 2023 People’s Choice Country Awards. His debut album, which came out in 1993, is well-known for the singles “Red Solo Cup” and “I Wanna Talk About Me.”
In the wake of the 9/11 attacks, Keith became well-known with his song “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue (The Angry American)” in 2002.
During his 30 year career, he recorded songs including Made in America and Who’s Your Daddy. His three children and his wife, Tricia Lucus, was behind him.
Keith stated that in addition to radiation and chemotherapy, he had undergone surgery for his cancer. He declared himself “comfortable with whatever happened” in relation to his condition.

When it was published in 1993, his debut song, Should’ve Been a Cowboy, shot to the top of the charts. With references to singing cowboys Gene Autry and Roy Rogers, the song romanticizes the cowboy way of life. Albums released later included Unleashed, Pull My Chain, and Blue Moon.
