Last night they again stole the limelight by their bond, as they attended the 2024 Golden Globes Award function. In the award list, Gomez was nominated for Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical, or Comedy for her work in Only Murders in the Building. On the other hand, her best friend Swift was nominated under the new category Cinematic and Box Office Achievement for her Eras tour concert film.
They were seen talking and embracing each other at the function. The Brilliant Globes posted the photographs on the official account of X, previously known as Twitter, with the subtitle, “Young Ladies Night at the Golden Globe Award Night.”
In the event, Selena Gomez was seen wearing an asymmetrical hemline and black accents. Having cutouts in front with black rosettes and a black waistband, along with a black lining that peeked out from underneath. The Rare Beauty founder paired the dress with metallic red Christian Louboutin heels and complemented it with black nail polish. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift wore a floor-length, green Gucci gown and pointed Christian Louboutin shoes of matching color.

The duo has a special bond as they are best friends in the industry. Once Gomez revealed that Swift was her best companion for a lifetime. In November 2022, during a meeting, Selena Gomez told Drifter that Taylor was my only friend in the industry. I never fit in with a cool group of celebrities. I remember feeling like I didn’t belong because Taylor Swift is my only friend in the industry”.
In 2020, Swift shared about their friendship with Gomez. “We are sisters forever, and many people are unaware of this because we felt like posting everything on social media”.
