On Thursday’s broadcast of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 42-year-old musician announced that he is “going on tour,” introducing his new Forget Tomorrow World Tour. He has just released his new track “Selfish”

During their chat on the show, Fallon, 49, stated, “You did a show in Memphis, and you were amazing”. That was a free show.

“Yes, I did. Yes, my hometown,” Timberlake remarked.

That’s when the conversation started. Fallon said, “That’s where you played ‘Selfish’ for the first time,” before bringing up Timberlake’s upcoming free performance in Irving Plaza in New York City. The actor and singer questioned, “Should we tell them?,” before the presenter responded, “Do you have something to — .”

The “Suit & Tie” actor grinned and remarked, “Jimmy’s gonna open up.”

Fallon went on, “Do you have anything to announce?,” to which Timberlake said, “No, no, no.” I have nothing new to share.

He brought out his next album “Everything I Thought It Was”, saying, “We’re announcing it.” Fallon started to shout among the applause, “I’m just saying there could be something that the audience might want to hear if you said the right thing.”
He further added suspense,”People are watching from home, and if they want something, they can shop at justintimberlake.com.”

The presenter bellowed, “Is there something you’d like to announce?” just before a drum roll. At last, Timberlake said, “Oh yeah, I’m going on tour,” during applause from the audience and laughter from Fallon. Then Fallon said that the new tour was called the “Forget Tomorrow [World] Tour” and that it was a “world tour.”

Alongside host Dakota Johnson, Timberlake will also make a musical appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend.

In the meanwhile, Timberlake posted videos of his time with Fallon to Instagram on Thursday.
