Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes marked their first anniversary of dating each other. The “Love Me Like You Mean It” singer shared a heartfelt note on this occasion by writing, “A whole trip around the sun with my bestie. Thanks for making me write love songs”.
Following that, the 30-year-old country star shared multiple candid pictures of herself and the Outer Banks actor, 31, on Instagram. In that post, she expressed how he supported his music career. One of the videos uploaded captured the moment where he was rocking out in an arena while she performed on stage.

The second image displays Stokes standing by the edge of a stage as Ballerini looks down at him with a smile.
Ballerini affirmed her boyfriend’s positive influence on her career. Stokes replied in the post, “I really really love you.”
The singer also shared an adorable throwback video on her Instagram Story, capturing “the night we met.” In the clip, she and Stokes are spotted sitting in a car dancing and singing along to her hit “Heartfirst.”
Stokes marked their first dating anniversary on Instagram by sharing some candid photos of them and revealing their goofy sides. Caption wrote, “One year of loving you. Told ya I wouldn’t embarrass you.” To that post, she commented, “Sure do love you.”

One month after meeting him, the four-time Grammy nominee narrated how they both met. Once in an appearance on the podcast, she explained that the two started following each other on Instagram and she boldly took a step by sending him a Direct message on his Instagram account.
She recalled the time by saying, “I’ve never seen his show, but I just knew about him, and I just fell in love with him”.
At the 2023 CMT Awards in April, they entered as a couple at the red carpet debut night. She praised him by saying, “It’s nice to feel so supported and seen. He’s such a wonderful human being.”
